About

A few things about me: I adore fashion. I like the challenge of teaching myself new things, visiting new places, and experiencing life one moment at a time. I enjoy meeting new people, and I want to make a difference in others' lives.

These are my beliefs and goals:

Fashion, to me, has always been the most public form of self expression. It's a way to show the world through color, texture, and style, exactly who you are as an individual. It's a way to reflect your mood, convey a message and encourage and empower yourself. I've never been one to fit into a particular style mold. I believe a woman can wear anything she wants as long as she 1) feels good in it, 2) feels empowered by it, and 3) is herself in it. Abundantly Alex has given me an incredible opportunity to share that philosophy with women all over the world and it's my desire that through the blog I not only continue to encourage women to use fashion as a way to build their own confidence, but that I am continually challenged and empowered by it as well. I hope that my love of fashion translates into a love for my followers and a feeling of community among women that are encouraging one another to use fashion to be their best selves.

Life is messy. It's full of successes and failures and believe it or not, bloggers are not superhuman Chanel-clad entities that have the picture perfect lives we try to sell on Instagram. We all try and learn new things every day, some of them good, some of them bad. Through sharing my own little lessons on Abundantly Alex, I hope to encourage my followers to branch out and try new things. It's my goal to inspire readers to be their bravest selves. Don't be afraid to screw something up. Take a risk. Give yourself the chance to create something beautiful. Experience life one moment at a time. Look back and find the silver linings, learn to turn failures into successes by experiencing the "How NOT to's," and most importantly: LIVE.

And last, but certainly not least, I want Abundantly Alex to always be about YOU. The Reader. The Follower. The Friend. Human connection is so important and if this blog no longer speaks to the audience, then I am not doing my job. I want to share my life with you, not to share my life, but to encourage you, empower you, teach you, inspire you, and maybe even make you laugh. I want to hear from YOU, how posts make you feel, what you like, what you don't like, anything at all. Abundantly Alex is possible because of and created for YOU. Thank you for joining me on this incredible journey.

XO

Alex
